On July 29, 2025, the Sixth National Commendation Conference for Outstanding Builders of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics from the Non-Public Sector was held in Beijing. Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC, attended and delivered a speech. Li Ganjie presided over the commendation conference, and Hao Mingjin, Shen Yiqin, and Gao Yunlong were present. At the conference, Li Xiang, Chairman of Yinchuan Weili Transmission Technology Co., Ltd., and 99 other individuals were awarded the title of "Outstanding Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics from the Non-Public Sector."

"The Outstanding Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics among Non-Public Sector Economic Individuals Nationwide" is an initiative jointly conducted by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. Since its inception in 2004, the second to fifth selection and commendation events were held in 2006, 2009, 2014, and 2019, respectively. To date, fewer than 600 individuals nationwide have received this honor. This accolade is one of the highest honors awarded by the Party and the state to outstanding representatives in the private economic sector. It not only fully reflects the recognition of private enterprises and the private economy but also acknowledges the dedication of private entrepreneurs to industry and their contributions to the nation.
